Privacy Policy
UnderDrafter (“we,” “us”) provides stateless PDF form-filling software. This policy describes what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we keep your field maps and account details, we process your documents in memory without storing them, and we never sell data or use it to train AI models.
What we store
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. We use these to operate your account and contact you about the service.
Field maps. The JSON maps you create (field names, positions, form content hashes) are stored so your templates work across sessions. Maps never contain filled values.
What we never store
Your documents. Blank forms and fill data are processed entirely in memory: the filled PDF is returned in the response and purged within seconds. We do not retain your forms, the values you fill into them, or the completed documents — and our error tracking and logs never capture request bodies.
Technical logs
We keep basic server logs (timestamps, request paths, status codes, error types) to keep the service reliable and secure. Log entries never include document contents or fill values.
Service providers
We share data with a small number of providers, only as needed:
- Supabase — authentication (your Google account email and account status).
- DocuSign — only if you connect your own DocuSign account and send a document for signature; the envelope is created under your account, not ours.
- Vercel and Cloudflare — website hosting and network routing.
We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Retention and deletion
Account details and maps are kept while your account is active. Email us to request export or deletion and we will honor it within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing records. Documents are not retained at all, so there is nothing to delete.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here and update the date above.
