Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of UnderDrafter. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are using UnderDrafter on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
What UnderDrafter is
UnderDrafter is software that fills PDF forms: you upload your own blank form, create a field map, and the service deterministically fills that form from values you provide. Documents are processed statelessly — we do not store them.
What UnderDrafter is not
UnderDrafter provides no forms, reviews no documents, and gives no legal, tax, or other professional advice. No output of the service is a substitute for your own judgment; you are responsible for reviewing every filled document before you use it.
Your forms, your licenses
UnderDrafter works with forms you bring. You are responsible for having the right to use, fill, and process any form you upload, including any license your form provider requires. We do not grant rights to any third-party forms, and we never copy, sell, or distribute them — we cannot, because we do not store them.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Plans and billing
Free and paid tiers are metered on templates, never on pages or fills. Paid plans, when available, are billed monthly; you can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period, without proration. Prices for new subscriptions may change with notice on the pricing page.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to violate the law, to process documents you have no right to process, or to attempt to breach or overload the service. Uploads are limited to 25MB per file, with per-account quotas and rate limits. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Your data
You retain all rights to your forms, your data, and your maps. You grant us only the limited right to process them to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your maps are exportable at every tier.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” While deterministic filling is the point of the product, we do not warrant that the service is error-free or uninterrupted, and you must review all output before use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits.
Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination you may export your maps as described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be noted here with an updated date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
